Easy Red Beans and Rice

This recipe is from my friend Elizabeth. It was a cheap college food that was so filling.
Ingredients:
small onions, diced
2 cloves of garlic
smoked sausage
1 can red beans (kroger)
white rice
1/2 cup green pepper, diced

Directions:
  1. Cut up onion in food processor. cook onion, garlic and green pepper for 5 minutes in saucepan.
  2. Cut up sausage into small pieces and add to pan along with the can of red beans.
  3. cook for 10 minutes until warm.
  4. serve over rice
