Yummy Chili on a cold day

This recipe is courtesy of my father in law. My husband has added a little more fire to the recipe, but its so yummy and hearty. Serve it over noodles or just by itself.
We put lots of cheese and crackers in our chili too. Kraft Deluxe cheese is the best! Enjoy

Ingredients
1 large can whole peeled tomatoes, blended in food processor
4 cans chili beans with sauce (2 hot and 2 mild)
2 bell peppers (red and a green), diced
1 large sweet onion, diced
pkg. Lawery's Chili seasoning
1 tbsp. of regular lawery's seasoning mix and onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
1-2 cups water
2 pounds ground beef, cooked and drained well
1 pkg. spaghetti

  1. Brown meat and drain well on paper towels.
  2. In large chili pot start chopped onion and 1 cup water on medium heat
  3. Blend tomatoes and add to pot. Add 4 cans chili beans to pot too. stir well.
  4. Using tomato can, fill with water to add to the pot.
  5. Add ground beef and chili seasoning pack. stir well.
  6. add peppers, 1 tbsp. of regular lawery's seasoning mix and onion powder,  and salt/pepper to taste.
  7. Bring to a boil.
  8. let simmer for 2 hours on low. serve over noodles if desired.
