We put lots of cheese and crackers in our chili too. Kraft Deluxe cheese is the best! Enjoy
Ingredients
1 large can whole peeled tomatoes, blended in food processor
4 cans chili beans with sauce (2 hot and 2 mild)
2 bell peppers (red and a green), diced
1 large sweet onion, diced
pkg. Lawery's Chili seasoning
1 tbsp. of regular lawery's seasoning mix and onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
1-2 cups water
2 pounds ground beef, cooked and drained well
1 pkg. spaghetti
- Brown meat and drain well on paper towels.
- In large chili pot start chopped onion and 1 cup water on medium heat
- Blend tomatoes and add to pot. Add 4 cans chili beans to pot too. stir well.
- Using tomato can, fill with water to add to the pot.
- Add ground beef and chili seasoning pack. stir well.
- add peppers, 1 tbsp. of regular lawery's seasoning mix and onion powder, and salt/pepper to taste.
- Bring to a boil.
- let simmer for 2 hours on low. serve over noodles if desired.
