Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole

This is a favorite if you like wild rice. I love it. Donated by my Aunt.

Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, baked and shredded
1 box Uncle Ben's original long grain wild rice
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 cup butter
3 tbsp flour
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 cup mushrooms
shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
  1. preheat oven to 350
  2. cook rice as directed. saute onions and mushrooms in butter. 
  3. Blend in flour, the soup, and milk for sauce.
  4. Mix sauce, rice and chicken together, mix well. 
  5. Pour into greased casserole dish and top with cheese.
  6. bake for 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
